Insurance (Updated 7/22/26)

 

Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield​, Health Partners, Aetna, Cigna: In Network

We are able to take all of these plans and have tier 1 status with all of them.

 

The only exception is some BCBS Allina Health PPO plans. They may not carry chiropractic coverage outside of the Allina network.

United Health Care, Medica, Ucare, UMR, Whole Health Living:  Network pending, anticipated in network in October 2026

We do not currently have a contract with these companies (optum) but we can bill to them as an out of network provider; however, unless your out of network deductible is met, no payment is usually issued.

***The exception to these are UMR laborer's union insurance as they do cover out of network chiropractic care with a $20 co-pay.

Medicaid/MNCare: 

The state of Minnesota ellectively terminated all chiropractic coverage for anyone over the age of 21.  Additionally, Ucare was converted to Medica plans.  So in 2026, I will only be able to see patients who have MNCare through BCBS and Health Partners and only if they are under the age of 21.

Medicare: "Non-participating" ($30 co-pay)

We can take them but coverage is limited to manipulation of the spine only. 

The remainder of the balance would be due at the day of service ($30)

Medicare Supplements/Advantage plans: Accepted but complicated

*Coverage is limited to manipulation of the spine only.  Any extremity work (shoulder, hips, arms, legs), dry needling, soft tissue work, cupping, exercise, or nutrition counseling is paid out of pocket. Coverage tends to vary heavily plan to plan so costs vary.

Car Insurance/PIP: Accepted

All auto claims and casualty insurance claims are accepted.​​​

Worker's Comp: Mostly accepted
